Drawing some Inspiration from 'The Family Man'
The Family Man, Season 2 is all over the place and has been a super hit. We binge-watched the show and today's blog talks about some inspirational lines...
Have you watched the show yet? Few energetic souls would be like ofcourse, I was waiting for this thriller series.
Some of you might be watching it, or a few have it on your watchlist. Srikant is a witty, unapologetic straight forward and Down to Earth character. This blog is not a spoiler for you but might give you some bonding goals :P
Some Professional Goals:
Don’t be a ‘Minimum Guy’- One of the most famous dialogues of Srikant’s boss. Keep raising your bar and enhance performance. Don’t just fall into the trap of complacency by just doing what’s required. Don’t stagnate, and keep building a better version of yourself.
The iconic ‘Chellam Sir’ taught us that if you are passionate about something, you might retire by age but will never withdraw from the heart.
Sri’s corporate stint made us realise that we should not force ourselves to do something we are not interested in. We shouldn’t invite stress and boredom in life by involving any work that doesn't make us feel good.
His dedication towards TASC has stolen our hearts. One of a kind who doesn’t work for money, status, or position but for his peace of mind and thrill. Like a corporate geek, he doesn’t believe in cribbing for 29 days and just living for a day (on which your salary gets credited :P)
Boss- Employee relationship goals! Something we all fantasize, the relationship he has endured with his boss cum mentor, with whom he not only can share his feelings but also has left a strong impact on his boss basis his past performance and respectful attitude
Some Life Goals:
A friend like JK who is brutally honest but a firm secret keeper. Cheers to the equation Sri & JK shares; we all aspire for such a person in life. Remember to stay connected, no matter where you are!
Trust is one of the most challenging things to build and one of the easiest things to break. Learn to maintain it in every bonding you build.
Team building is the best thing, and a leader should be strong enough to let each one come out and play but always ensures that they are safeguarded. Losing anyone from your team seems like losing a part of the family.
Just saying “I am there for you” to your loved ones often solves many problems running in their lives. You need not know every bit of it; putting your faith is enough for them to deal with any situation.
Last but not least, Family and unconditional love are the two most important things that stay at the end of the day, and both of them are magical.
